You must be incredible because most people I know have hit a point like this. And the tears flow.

Evidence of answered prayer is not the restoration of things that were lost. Often it is a new direction that comes when another path is closed.

How does talking to a friend help? Really?

My own effort fails me often. The efforts of others do as well. You're a blessed person if that's not the case for you, anonymous.

Tom, I stumbled upon this post again today. It means even a little more this time around than last. I've had a lot of times like those John Chang described in his comment. But God never left me. And I don't buy that God was doing all this to me. But he's there to keep me through it. It's the peace that passes all understanding.

I hope you've seen even more answers in the past five years.rev-edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11706159606370268576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7378184.post-53764464636165263882010-11-24T13:28:04.524-06:002010-11-24T13:28:04.524-06:00You can say all of that, the thing is you realised...You can say all of that, the thing is you realised that there is NO divine intervention in your life still, it is still a fact that your wife left you, still a fact that you lost your job, physically they are both lost, and God has not answered your prayers or helped you in anyway, how does talking to your friend helps, think about it, you still lost the most precious thing in life, praying about it wouldnt help as there is never any divine intervention to help but you can only change stuff with your OWN effort and you alone, not God, but YOU.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7378184.post-35830352279845533682009-08-15T00:19:07.447-05:002009-08-15T00:19:07.447-05:00Funny how I have found this blog. I just feel like he constantly takes a dump on me over and over again and doesn't want me around. I gave him 10 years. Man devoted years. Bible study, worship, serving in the church, leading a small group and man he just constantly craps on me. I've had it man. God said that he'll never leave or forsake us, well I've got doubts. At this point, I'm a doubting Thomas. I'm tired of the BS and that's what it is.
